Default lq9/l92 swap ?'s

I have a few questions about a 5.3 to? Swap. I have a 2004 RCSB Silverado. I don't know weather I should go with an lq9/l92heads and l76 intake, or should I just stick with the stock l92 and get rid of the VVT? This won't be a track queen. It will be used mostly for street performance. I am trying to find the best setup compared to cost. I realize that the lq9 is an iron block and the l92 is aluminum. Would the lq9 with l92 heads put down the same numbers? Thanks for the patients, Rob

I dont think youve had any responses because the l92's wont fit on a 5.3L. They fit on Ls motors with a 4" bore or bigger (6.0L+) Its been asked a lot.

If you read my post I said I was swaping from a 5.3 to a LQ9 or L92(trying to decide). Sorry for the confusion.
