How Do Threads Make It To The Top??? Most forums I frequent push threads to the top only when there's a new post. This one doesn't seem to work that way. For instance, the post on 427 vs 440 shows last post today (3/6) at 5:24am, but the last post was actually yesterday at 9:55am. I don't want to sound like I'm bitching, but when I see a thread I'm interesed in has been pushed to the top, I expect to see a new post but in fact, most times it's not. What gives?

People should really put time limits on their polls.
I am so sick of the Goddamn connecting rod thread it isn't even funny....
A while ago there was a poster who kept asking question after question after question even after the question had been answered many times. Everything the OP wanted to know could have been easily discovered with a simple search. Finally one of the mods jumped in and called them the "Poster Child for Bad Posting". I thought that was hilarious. We've got one going on here right now.
