Recommended High Performance Heads for LS2 I had performance mods. done on my 2006 C6 Z51 M6 LS2 Corvette around 8 months ago and I'm beginning to plan for my next mod.
I have the following mods:
1 7/8" Kooks Headers through high flow cats and factory exhaust
UD Pulley
228/232 @ 112 LSA Cam with double springs and pushrods
Callaway Honker Air Intake
FAST 90 Intake Manifold
160 Thermostat
Tune
I am now at 446 RWHP and 404 RWTQ
I am thinking about a new set of heads to move me closer to 480-490 RWHP.There are many types of heads out there and was wondering what type of heads you guys would recommend. Should they be ported? What could I expect to pay for a good set of heads (Parts and Labor)? I expect I would need another tune after swapping heads? What other mods. could I do that would bring me closer to 500 RWHP? I would like to stay normally aspirated but would consider a stroked engine down the line. I already have a FAST Intake, so I have heard that the L92 heads will not work with my combo. I use this car as a semi daily driver. I typically drive my Vette if it is not bad weather (rain, snow, tornado, etc..) So I want my car to stay pretty streetable but have a bunch of down low torque. I realize more cubes would address this issue, however, I'm not ready to do a $20K engine swap. Any ideas you guys have would certainly be apprecaited. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to engines.

Since you've already got the FAST intake, I'd recommend a set of our Stage 2.5 LS6/2 heads for your vehicle! With the 2.02"/1.57" valves, the CNC porting, and the competition valve job you could expect to see 45-50rwhp from swapping to them from your stockers! Let me know if I can help you with your combo. Depends on your budget...you could spend 1100 on a set of heads and come away with another 20hp or so, or you could go all out and pick up a set of TFS/ETP heads and probably spend closer to 3K. I decided to wait it out and save for set of ETP's since they seem to have the highest HP gains that ive seen.
Also if your still running the stock clutch plan on replacing it. I killed my stock clutch pretty fast cam only (stock LS2 intake) but it was in a goat so the weight was a factor. Also your stock injectors will need replacing more than likely if you didnt already upgrade when going to the Fast intake.

Newly Updated PRC LS7 CNC Heads Break 400CFM!!

Guys we just finished up the tweaked version of our all new PRC LS7 cylinder heads & these bad boys broke the 400cfm mark!
The cylinder heads were revised slightly when it was moved over to our new machine & we're completely thrilled with the results!
Keep in mind this is a tweaked version of the cylinder head that already pushed our 06 Z06 passed the 600rwhp mark!
Here's the flow data:
