Default L92 Stock Valve Question

I have stock L92's that have GM#064 intake and #063 exhaust valves. When I checked the installed height, the exhaust came in good @1.8" with no shimming required. The intakes all need to be shimmed to get to 1.8 , not a big deal. So today when I started to install the springs and keepers I look across the tops after I have three of them in (2 exhaust and one intake) and you can clearly see that the intake valve sets a little higher than the two intakes. I put a straight edge across all three and I can't touch the two exhaust with the edge resting on the intake. The stem of the valve seems to long. Can that work? All of my intakes will end up being a little higher than the exhaust. Has anyone else seen this?? It just doesn't seem right. What can be wrong?? Thanks

doesnt sound right,, on my stock L92 heads and stock gm L92 valves the installed height was actually a little on the tight side at 1.78" on intake and exhaust with stock valve seat/seals installed, and all the valve stems were the same height

something is up with your valves,, are they factory gm valves?

gm L92 intake valve part #12590771 (2.16")

gm L92 exhaust valve part#12582719 (1.59")

Yes they are GM, I got the parts #'s from the Nov.2007 Hot Rod 6.0 Hop-Up part II
and I got them from GM Parts direct. My numbers are not even close to Jaylt4

Mine are intake....#12563063, exhaust....#12563064
Those are the numbers in the article that they used for there L92
Looks like I may have the wrong valves, *****!!! jaylt4 where did your part #'s come from??
