Default Electric water pump? for a LS2

With my build up to a forged 402 and overdriven Maggie 122, should I look into upgrading the factory water pump to an electric one?

Thanks, Tom

The electric waterpump is said to be good for a couple of rwhp. But I prefer the reliability of the factory pump for a car driven on the street. The electric pump is great for track use to cool down between rounds for consistency.

Honestly I don't think a good electric will be any less reliable. Its good for 10-12rwhp as well.

I did some further digging around. It seems that the electrics are rated for hours of use. So, it's pretty simple math. If they live up to their ratings, they are expected to last a very long time.
