Default Changing head cam package, need help.

I currently have an M6 ls6 intake, cheater cam, pat stg 2 stock valves, Jet hot long tubes, cut out, lid, upgraded T56, sfc make 394/375. I posted before and I have definitely worn out the search function. I've already ordered LCA's and 3.90's; but, I think I want another cam. I bought the cam for stealth and driveabilty. It's barely stealthy and has good driveability; but, my car still feels stock. I want a cam to go with my mods that will give more HP and good torque for the street mostly. I didn't want a lopey idle at first, but now, I don't really care as long as my car is not shaking and cutting off when I use the ac etc.I can take a noticable lope...just not violent vibrations. Any help would be appreciated given I"m well over $6000 in mods and do overs and the car still feels stock. The local shop recs 228R Sorry about the length.

not another what cam thread....
Seriously tho, this is the sort of question a lot of people have, we all want the biggest bang for bucks. The rest is fairly straitforward, intake, exhaust, heads (OK there is a bit of a variation between different heads, but for the standard off the shelf CNC call it 70% street 30% strip setup they are all simiar).
The big variable is the cam, thats where the engine shines or flops, where people are happy or sad with their combos.
Someone please help us with a few spes to get us going.
I recon it can be broken down to 3 levels.
1) people who want a stock running car they can use every day, but is significantly faster than it came from the factory
2) Still possible to use on a regular basis ie can cruise in a high gear at lowis RPM, but we must put up with a rougher idle, and a loss of low end power. Takes off nice at the top end.
3) this is far more like it.. rough idle, bit of poping and rattling below 2000 RPM, but get its throat cleared and it flies.
Lets assume 6.0l ls2 stock bottom end, long tube headers, CNC L92 heads and L76 intake. any numbers?

Yea, I know its another cam thread, I've read most of them. I just wasn't happy with the combo and I was hoping that someone would chime in that had similar mods and was happy. I know that the cheater isn't made for longtubes, but my thinking used to be flawed. Now I don't care. From reading I had decided on the MS3; however, the locals are strongly against it.

i guess it all depends on what your willing to accept as far as drivability..
my old combo was a H/C Z/28,with a TR220,114lsa,3000 stall TQ,and 3.73 gears..i loved it as a street car, plenty of power every and had just a little lope at idle..but most people on here would say it's too small of a cam.
you've tried one cam and don't like it,so that's a start..
if your getting 3.90s,i would say something like a TR224,112lsa,on the small side, and MTI's G1 if you want to go a little bigger.
just my .02
