i was considering L92's when i first broke my current motor, but i got a bigger tax return than expected, so i figured i'd go LS7. i hate to have all that extra CFM left on the table, but just like food on a table, if you get hungry, it's there waiting to be used, know what i mean? if i got a set of L92's and an intake that flow-matched or outflowed them and then wanted to go bigger, i'd be getting an entire new top-end including the cam i would imagine. plus i like the 11* valve angle of the LS7's too.

the car is going to be mostly street oriented, but if/when this new motor breaks, it may be a little more track-oriented and i'll i'd have to do is hook up a sheet metal intake and plug in a 200-shot or swap out pistons and stick a big turbo on it.

another factor i've LIGHTLY considered is the potential for a LS7-compatible FAST intake. i don't know if one is in the making, but if it were, i would imagine it would suit my needs quite well, and since i don't know when this motor will come to fruition, i may have a few extra intake options when the time comes.
Here they are:

All Pro: ETP Canted Valve heads flow pretty much identical
.100" 64 47 .100"
.200" 148 100 .200"
.300" 228 142 .300"
.400" 318 183 .400"
.500" 375 214 .500"
.550" 392 224 .550"
.600" 402 237 .600"
.700" 414 250 .700"
.800" 419 258 .800"
.900" 422 263 .900"

LS7 ported: by PRC. There are porters getting better flow numbers than PRC and especially better on the exhaust numbers
.200 168 119
.300 244 179
.400 306 211
.500 347 224
.600 378 235
.700 393 246

So, about 408 @ .650: All Pro
385 @ .650: LS7

All else being equal the All Pros will make about 35 more hp (1.5 hp per cfm), if they had an intake to feed them, which is only gonna be done with a nice sheet metal intake. Exhaust flows are equal @ .650.

I think I figured this stuff out correctly.

If your looking for a premium head then I have these for sale. The cathedral port doesnt limit you to an ls7 intake.

FWIW the stock ls7 intake port will support well over 800 hp na.

FWIW v2 my car with around 11.5 comp, a small cam for a 427 put down 548 rwhp with the stock intake port, ported factory intake, and

a cracked sleeve in at least one cylinder. Take from that what you will...
