Looking to do a cam swap, advice needed...
Hey guys looking for some cam advice. I have currently hav a Comp 228/230 .571/.573 on a 112+2 installed in my Trailblazer SS. Other mods are intake, 3600 stall, and Kooks LT's. Stock 4.10 gearing. Truck has gone a best of 12.30 at 108.7 on motor. I love the power but am looking to do a cam swap. I am looking for a cam with less lope/shake at idle and will help my everyday driveability since this is my daily driver. Two stealth cams I have looked at are Lingenfelter's GT2-3 and Thunder Racings CheatR, but I am not sure how these will compare to my current setup performance wise. There is also a local tuner here with a "stealth" cam and the specs are as follows..216/228 .561/.571 on a 116 lsa...I was curious how the the experts think that will run in my truck. I am open to suggestions and opinions. Thanks in advance

I have a 228/228 .588/.588 114 in my daily driver with a 3600stall, 3.73's and I love it. It wants to stall sometimes when backing into parking spots but i just throw it in neutral and it catches itsself. Im not a cam expert but a cam with 114LSA might help with the idle.

I would get a TR 224-224 563-563 on a 114...
U will love it,It will have a smidge of lope but be totally street friendly.
If u want something that doesnt lope and still makes great power
I would look at the the Lingi cam,its totally stock sounding and will make good power and even though its small for a LS2 I think it will work well and its real easy on the valvetrian too..
The Cheatr cam is hard on the valvetrain but quiet at idle,no lope..
I like it but again u will need a good spring like a PAC 1518 for longevity..
