Default Quick...LS2 timing set, is this dot to dot? Pics

I'm working on this thing as we speak and I need to know if its right before I torque things down and assemble the rest of the stuff. The ONLY reason I ask this is because I don't know 110% that that thing on the cam gear is the "dot". If that is...yea everything is lined up.

THANKS

Great! It took all of about 30 seconds to put it together too! I guess I got lucky, it was right the very first try.

Hell of a lot bigger dot than the LS1 cam gear!!! I'm surprised its not on the tooth.

Yea it is. Of course, thats the front of the cam gear and their is no dot on any of the teeth. It was that imprint as the dot.

Are you going to install the black dampener? If so, would you check how much slack is on the driver's side of your chain? Is the chain new?

thanks

I thought about it and asked TSP when I ordered all my other lil goodies I was missing and decided not to. They don't use it on any of their motors, so its good enough for me! Their was some slack in the chain overall. Its a brand new timing set btw.
