I voted for the moly because of it's HIGHER tensile strength. It really depends on what bolt and what it's purpose is used for?

^ Agreed. Some fasteners will never see any where close to the strength needed for them to fail. A lot of people over build there applications. Here's a really good chart that goes over all the typical materials ARP uses:

don't mean to sound mean. but Do you know ARP rates there chromoly and stainless at same tensile strength.

I generally avoid stainless in bare aluminum unless there is no other choice. You need to look at tensile and yield strengths as well along with elongation.

i have called them and they say it is my choice. price aint the biggest difference. just didn't know if i should run lke chromoly inside the motor.(since it will allways have oil on it) and run stainless out side cuase it don't rust.

wether it is stainless or chromoly. strenght in the bolt/stud is the same.
