Default water in catch can

I have noticed some water in my oil catch can.

im running no pcv system, and after a whole bunch of cold starts to tune start up fuelling......

there is no white gunk in the oil, no residue in the inside of the valve covers, nor in the oil

how much water can be generated through just condensation??

i get about 20 mils, is that suggesting i have a problem, or to ne expected?

I've never run a catch can before, so dont have an idea of what to expect in there, i thought it'd just be oil??

That is normal. I get quite a bit with running a vacuum punp setup.. It is totally normal. Just keep and eye on it and get used to draining every so often. Just don't let it fill up.

the catch cans job is to condense oil vapor into liquid again, so it can be collected. It goes without saying that it will also condense water vapor as well, do not be worried if there is water in your catch can. If you drive a lot in humid weather there would probably be even more water in the can... The last time I checke dmine, I had more water than oil, but I live in Memphis, very humid here.
