? on heads for LQ9 408 Not totally sure I'm going with this, but think if I do something it will be a LQ9 408. With money in mind, I'd like to use as much of the stuff off my 347 as I can. I have a ported Fast 90 / 90 as well as a T-rex cam, TTS LT headers and duals. Having done a little research on here in the past few hours, I see decent heads for ths block can be picked up for a reasonable price. I can't afford AFRs or anything like that right now.
The heads I have right now are Patriot Performance 035 casting S2 (2.02/1.57 valves / 59cc). Are these decent heads for this block & combo or is there a different set in the 1200- 1300 range that would give me substantial gains? I have no plans on going FI any time in the near future and nitrous use would probably be limited to a 150-200 shot.

MTI had some heads for sale a while back that would be very nice and are right in your budget. Not sure if they sold out of them or still have them but its worth a call. Your heads will work but they wont be ideal.
