How do i get it to rev further? I would like a few more revs up top, it peaks at around 6000rpm, i like the grunt it has got and i am undertaking the new engine build as of this moment, i am just awaiting my Con rods from TR to carry on the build. Is it possible to get more revs without going up on cam duration? ( Cam is in my sig ). I have unshrouded the valves to allow for the bigger bore and done a mild flow job and blended the bowls properly, as Darts effort looked a bit shabby!
When you get your computer tuned for the new engine build whoever is tuning should raise your rev limiter according to your cam's specs. As far as raising your peak power without going up in cam duration you can move the lobe seperation to determine where the power will peak with the cam.
