Question about rear wheel HP & torque
It's the 2007 LS2 crate motor from GM Performance, stock intake manifold with the Edelbrock 90mm, cable-drive throttle body, K&N FIPK, Edelbrock shorties, and Magnaflow cat-back exhaust, all mounted on a 2000 M6 Z28. Still have the stock catalytics, although those are going out tomorrow and just running pipes from the headers to the muffler.
Are these numbers good or am I underpowered? Does having 3.73:1 gears as opposed to the stock 3.42s have an effect positively or negatively?
Just curious. I'm posting this same question on other forums. Thanks, in advance, for everyone's input.
According to my mechanic, he says the stock GTOs usually dyno out around 330, and he says this is putting out pretty decent numbers for what it is. I guess I should consider it doing well, all things considered, eh?
