I am planning on building a 402 stroker in the very near future, let me think what you guys think of my combo.
Compstar 4.00" crank
Compstar rods
Diamond 4.010 pistons with -15cc dish
I would like to run a 59cc head to get around 11-1 compression, the reason I would like to do this is because after a year or 2 I am going to install a turbo on the motor and lower the compression down to 9.5-1 with 72 cc heads. How would a set of the PRC stage 2.5 5.3 heads work on this motor?I realize that this combo isn't ideal for max power however I just want to make a decent amount power and optimize my setup for FI later. Also what cam would be good for this setup, thanks.

Unless, you're truly serious about FI, I would maximize the setup for n/a from the initial build up and deal with the FI part when you're actually going to switch. The motor should be refreshed at that point, so then you could switch pistons and change the cam. Either way, do not cut corners on the heads. Invest in some quality heads like AFR or Trick Flow designed for the bigger bore strokers.

When I do switch to FI I am going to buy a set of either the 225AFR's or by then the 235AFR's, my question was how will these heads work on my setup in the mean time....I know I am leaving power on the table by using these heads, but would they be ok to get by with?

you really need to build the motor for what your going to do with it now. Most guys never get to the "down the road" mods.if your going to run n/a,build it for n/a.If you want to switch to a turbo setup later-sell the motor and build a new one for the turbo.
