a small car builder asked as theyve built the car around the ls2 and dont want to be stuck without engiens.

THere are several configurations of the LS2

From what I remember

05-06 GTO has a 24 Tooth Reluctor
05-07 Corvette has a 58 Tooth Reluctor
Trail Blazer SS has a 58 Tooth Reluctor

GMPP lists 2, LS2 based Engines

Corvette Style with 58 Tooth Reluctor
364/440 Carb Style intake and 58 Tooth Reluctor

If you need a GTO Engine it might be available through the GM Parts System. GMPP does not offer the 24 tooth reluctor LS2

If they configure the cars for a Corvette Style LS2 then the LS3 is a natural fit.

they use 58x reluctors
