Some header questions

Some header questions 1. Will it make my car sound more throatier/agressive? I'm currently running a y pipe down to a 80 series flowmaster muffler.
2. Not sure which brand I should get from here
3. I still have to go through emission testing, so would I still pass with aftermarket headers?

Flowmasters suck for power
No longtube header will legitimately pass smog
If you remove the cats then same deal, wont legit pass
Plenty of people have and do, but you need a shop to forget to do a visual per say. If you gotta pass any type of sniffer youre pretty SOL.
If theres no sniffer id say go longtubes and delete all the emissions **** out and tune it. Less weight so much more room.
