Default ECM Placement

I will be doing a LT4 swap in a 1965 GTO my question is it better the install the E92 ECM under the dash or in the motor compartment. I know some electronics dont like extreme heat.

The OEM placement is under the hood. Just an FYI, the E92 is ******* huge. I mean seriously big. It's the size of a phone book. Good luck sticking it anywhere besides under the hood.

Go to the Chevy store and pop the hood on a new Camaro. The ECU is on the passenger side.
