Default Motor mounts & Engine Alignment

Just picked up a set of Dirty Dingo adjustable hot rod motor mounts (DD-LT-SR-CM) for my 35 coupe and wondered if anyone has any experience installing these. I'm using a 5" recessed firewall and plan to push the engine back to within 1/2" or 3/4" from the firewall to give me a bit more room for the engine accessory drive / radiator, fan shroud, but I'm not sure if the actual motor mounts should be welded parallel to the frame rail or at a 2 or 3 degree angle. DD-LT-SR-CM.

Would appreciate any help / advice you can share.

Thanks

Default Got-er-done

Had to recruit some outside help to get the engine aligned and the mounts installed but, hey, you gotta know your limits!! At any rate it’s all done and I’m pretty happy with the results.

Really like the Dirty Dingo Street rod mounts b/c they allow the engine to slide 3-4 inches front or rear.
