Default MAF Sensor Bung Location

I'm trying to get my intake figured out, L83 with LT1 intake going into a Land Rover Defender, and I thought I read the MAF had some parameters to be located within. I think it was 10" from the throttlebody and in a 6" straight section or something. I got 4" tube with some 90's etc I'm going to weld up but it's tight fit in there. Still trying to decide if I should do an S turn up behind the front headlight or run a couple turns and then back through the fender. I hate that I'm going to have to put so many turns in it but if I run it back down the fender I could add a snorkel to it as much as I don't like them.......kinda stumped.

Thanks,
Sean

Looks like you read the same article I did. About 10" from the TB, in the middle of a 6" straight section.

That's funny. I got exactly 12" straight across there but I think that would be pushing it.
