I know a lot of you know much about the engines in these platforms but when it comes to the automatic transmissions seems that a lot of you have not dived in into how easy they can actually be. I have some speculations on what's going on with my Gen V truck that I just got back from the Dealership and could just really use some input on where to move forward on at least one of the projects that I have at hand whether being solving the trucks thermal bypass on the transmission body or if it's the combination of both that and the radiator causing the issue that I have at hand.

I know this isn't the section for it but I could just really use someone to go into that area the forums and add your 2 cents. I have also spoke with one mechanic that told me if I get the bypass valve fixed and fix the transmission with diesel thoroughly 2,3 or 4 times possibly That it could be an easy fix without even having to mess with the radiator. A little bit discouraging definitely kept me up way later than it needed to last night not overthinking this but just definitely went on a very long fishing trip to get my mind off of it.

I know my grammar is not the best but I'm sure that someone understands where I'm coming from. I don't type a lot of this I use speech to text Excuse me if it sounds unorganized I did just wake up in my thought pattern is not quite there yet. Gonna go outside and start organizing my shop I need to make progress on it much love to all the help that may come forward.
