LT2 HPFP options
Hi all, we have a C8 that we've done a procharger kit on with upgraded LPFP, but the HPFP can't keep up. In all my research I can't seem to find any definitive information on the subject. It doesn't seem like anyone does a drop in HPFP upgrade for the LT2. Seems a number of people fit LT4 pumps, but according to some forum posts, they don't actually flow any more than the LT2 anyway. But I haven't seen any test bench data from either pump, so there's really no telling.
We have explored the option of a cam upgrade as we normally do on LT4's etc, but wanted to give the customer all available options, including retaining a standard cam and just upgrading the fuel system if it's an option. I don't know if there's a port injection kit, but I think we're trying to avoid the added complexity of another complete standalone system in the car.
Any advice on the subject would be greatly appreciated.
