Who to have spec cam?

Default Who to have spec cam?

I've been reading alot and want to make the best choice when I cam my 2012 camaro in the next month. Iv heard the name pat g come up plenty on big hp builds but I have no idea how to contact him. Anyone else better to spec?
What do y'all think. Right now it's tuned and on a 100 shot. Plans are to do 3:73 gear 36-4000 stall depending on cam. Deleting all the dod and vvt. Long tubes and have a extra set of ls3 heads I'm gonna have ported and polished. I have full intentions of spraying atleast a 200 on a direct port. Thanks guys in advance

You just find Pat G on here under the username search very simple, then he has links on his page that will lead you in the right direction. I used him for my cam selection and it was a good experience. You fill out a very detailed list of what your car has and what your needs are, soon enough you will have exactly what you want with the correct lobes and cam for your setup

Yea guy I work with found it for me and I'm gonna send him all my info when I get back in the office. I called him and spoke on the phone and he has me a little more informed and he understands what I'm shooting for. Thanks for the quick response

If you'd like a second opinion you can PM me your email address. I have several H/C/I LS3 Camaro's making 500-520rwhp/460-470rwtq with Advanced Inductions "budget" port work where they leave the intake runner as cast and only CNC port the exhaust runner. The last one we did had 1x3/4" headers, cats, factory H-pipe, factory resonators, restrictive 2x1/2" GMPP exhaust, stock 90mm TB, LS3 Stage 2 Street Heat camshaft and a Fast 102. It made 517rwhp/474rwtq and with a set of 1x7/8" headers, no cats, 3" x-pipe, 3" exhaust, no resonators and a 102mm TB it could of very well made 530-540rwhp on a stock short block! that's not even with AI's full CNC porting!

We actually have some packages coming out soon that will replicate these 500rwhp+ set-ups if you're or anyone else is interested.

i believe Tick has an ls3 build on the dyno section utilizing this cam....

Yes we do! That is the car I referenced in my post. There is an easy 20rwhp left on the board with that car, and possibly even more!

+1 for Pat G. He just did one for my GEN5 Camaro that I am putting together. Before he did one for my Silverado. That engine was a Monster!
