Default LT2 and LT3

Was talking to an engineer at work today and he mentioned two new LS variants that were coming out. The LT2 which is a cam and exhaust upgrade to the LT1, about 480hp and the LT3 which is a 6.6L version and 510hp. There will also be a 6.6L iron block for trucks. Both 6.6 variants will have the same bore as the 6.2 but with a striker crank.

I wonder how much power we'll see on OEM truck form....
I could see using a form of VVT, but I would hope not ANY form of AFM/DOD....

A 6.6 with an msd would be a sweet combo of high and low end.

383 LS1 is ~ 6.27 liters aka a 6.3 liter engine.
The 6.6 liters is basically a 400 cube engine.
The 17 CID doesn't sound like much but is easily 15-25hp in a mild build.

Hopefully, we will see an inexpensive stroker come out of this new truck motor.

What is the maximum cubes these blocks can reach? Same as the LSX block?

Chevrolet Performance already has a LT376/535HP. It is basically a LT1 with the LT "hot cam."
