Default 6.2 loosing compression

I just replaced the camshaft, lifters, and valve springs on my 2016 6.2L gen 5 L86. I did the rocker arm trunion upgrade. Also installed the DOD plugs in the block. I started the engine and ran it for 20 minutes and everything was great. After checking all the fluids I restarted the engine and gunned it a couple times when the engine went back to idle it died. It barely started and had no power. revved the engine again and it died again. Would not restart. Getting fuel and spark. No codes. Checked compression and all the cylinders had about 80 psi. Let it sit overnight and retested the compression and it was 180. Started the engine. Ran great till I revved it and the same thing. Any help would be appreciated.

Are your lifters pumping up and holding the valves open? (Had a friend use the wrong length pushrods,) Once the lifters pumped up the engine would spit a couple times and die..

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to rip the valve covers back off and double check the pushrod length.

This pretty much has to be what it is. What length pushrods did you use?

I figured it Out. this camshaft i purchased requires a cam Phaser limiter or lockout. Summit Tech Assistance failed to tell me this when i ordered it. I figured it out the hard way. I read the instructions. Lol
Thanks for your feedback. i did check the pushrods and they where .050" too Long so i did replace them with the correct length rods but it did the same thing. I now have no hair and a empty wallet
