Koni shocks/struts
You're right about price, and you're right about adjusting them much once they're set too...but I see a lot of people put them on the car, and never finish adjusting them because it's "close enough" and too much of a PITA to tweak. If you know you're not going to fall into that and not finish adjusting them, then absolutely, save some money and go with the third gen rears.
Ask and you shall receive! I just ordered a set of 4/3 Koni's. Sam you are the man! I'd rather do business with the expert anyway...
