Re: LS-6 intake manifold
I would need the EGR version right? Unless could I possibly delete the EGR? Is it worth it to delete it? Definately going to need one for my H/C/Nitrous coming this fall

You could delete the egr if you are not worried about smog checks, and you get your computer programmed to not show the "Service Engine Soon" light, or you just ignore the light.

Re: LS-6 intake manifold
I bought the SLP egr version LS6 intake last summer, and I couldn't get it to work. The egr provision always leaked. I finally, this week, plugged the egr hole with a 1" freeze plug, and deleted the codes.

Re: LS-6 intake manifold
If you want the non-EGR version it will be best to order that directly from SLP because there isn't any discount on this product to vendors. We carry the version that is modified by SLP to accept the EGR and also carry the Holley intake.

Re: LS-6 intake manifold
FWIW, I've seen/heard nothing but problems with the SLP EGR-mod unless they've changed the design. Just do a search and see how many people have had trouble with the EGR connection leaking. I'm in the market for an LS6 intake and I want to keep my EGR for emissions reasons, so when I buy it I will get the non-EGR version (available with coolant lines for $399 from SLP) and the LPE EGR adaptor for $75. Total cost is ~ $475, which is comparable to the normal price of the SLP-modified version without the leaking problems.
