Re: thunder racing gp?
Thunder Racing won't do any cam GP's so let me tell you what I just did. Call Larry or Tom at Speed Inc. they are a sponsor to your right. They will get you the exact same cam, springs, pushrods, and retainers as TR sells for their GP price. I paid $709.99 with the retainers - without it would be $600 I believe. That is the same as TR's last GP they ran. Just make sure you get the +4 degrees of advance ground in the cam and you'll get the exact same one. They are mostly made by Comp Cams anyway!

No other vendor sells this cam unless they are buying it from us. Just because the .050" duration number and the lift look similar does not mean they are the same lobe or perform the same. If someone tells you they will sell you the exact same cam that we sell, and they are getting it from Comp, beware because you are being mislead. As far as pushrods go, we are also having these custom made now. The only Comp items in our package are the springs and retainers.

The complete kit, including our camshaft, Comp 918 springs, pushrods, and gaskets is $699. You can add titanium retainers for $100 additional. If you have time to give one of the guys a call, they'll be able to go over your combination with you and make some suggestions. Our toll-free number is 877-516-7223.
Thanks,
Angie

Re: thunder racing gp?
Hey Angie,
I ordered the TR 220 114 LSA cam and package from you guy's about two weeks ago, and I was wondering if you guy's have gotten the Ti retainers that were back ordered, in yet? If you haven't its not a big deal, I was just wondering. I'm really excited about putting the cam in.
Thanks
