OK guys I just came to an agreement on the 200 MPH speedometers. If we can get solid, committed buyers within Wednesday and can aim for 20 or more people for the group buy, we will be able to do it for $249.99 plus freight. Freight is dependant on your location and how you want the speedometer shipped back to you.

If we can pull this off by Wednesday, I'll hopefully have all the contact information from you guys and I'll call everyone up, give them the address for shipping, and book the purchases. One specific reason why group purchases seldomly worked in the past is because you have to communicate directly to us, Granatelli Motor Sports.

To clarify, you must have a 97-02 f-body and ship us the speedometer for us to change the overlay and recalibrate it. You can drive an f-body without the speedometer, just be careful not to speed.

I don't think it's possible...I can ask JR if we can, seeing that if most of you guys request silver over the color we have, but keep in mind it'll be more money. Why not buy a silver overlay that lays around the border of the speedo and slap that on?

See above. I also saw the overlays myself at Granatelli's warehouse. Other than the color, they look exact to stock exept for that it goes upto 200 MPH. It has all the set-ups to match all the stock notices and icons(ex: OIL CHANGE, Service engine soon, ect.)

 

If someone would do the research and figure out a way to make this work for the LT1 guys someone would be filthy rich.

As I said, I'll see what I can do but it looks extremely grim. If you want the 200 MPH speedo in any other color confirm yourself on the group list. After reading a previous post by JR, it seems like there is very little chance I can get the gauges in silver for you guys. Here's a post from him a few months ago, "As for Silver, I can still do Silver but I need a 150 piece order and you guys could never get over 20". Anyone want to handle a 150 peice group order? I don't think I could pull that off and keep everyone organized and committed for that long.

F-body sales aren't what they used to be, so don't expect any new products to come out from anywhere. I talked to Ira, our Camaro electronics guy and he said he may be able to do it; however, there seems to be few LT1 guys out there that'd be willing to put up the money for the 200 MPH gauge. That and there aren't too many LT1 guys out there that can hit over 155 MPH.

Well if I can't get the silver then white it is.
