Anybody else looking for a good deal on a shortblock, maybe even a long block?

I can do this for you:
This is for a 408ci;
New 6.0 block, Eagle 4340 forged 4" crank, 6.125 Eagle rods with ARP rod bolts, Wiseco pistons 4.030 bore, Childs & Albert rings, Federal Mogal and Clevite bearings, ARP main studs.
LIne bored, cylinders bored and honed, rotating assembly balanced, decks checked, file fit rings, and assembled. This also includes drilling and tapping the hole needed to bolt up the accessory bracket.
$3600.00 no core required.
Lead time is 2-3 weeks. Lunati crank available. Depending on your heads, JE or Diamond pistons may be substituted for the Wiseco.

The only 347 we can do now would be an iron block 347.

In other words, group purchases on engines are somewhat risky lately. See the sponsor feedback forum for examples.

Billy....... i was curious about the machine work..... will you send me a PM. I assume I know who and what's going on. Am I right? If so this is a hell of a deal.

That aluminum 383 sounds good to me. I am soaking all this in. Dont want weight...... but I do want a block that will last...... LS2 402 vs 383 Alum. vs 408 Iron??? Decisions Decisions..... can you tell I have all the time in the world!

300 cam
2000 rear end
1000 90/90 setup
300 fuel system
