Great oprotunity For a sponsor Well, I was just thinking...(scary, i know) Scott and Brad are friends of mine from back in kentucky. but i am also one of the people who had a motor on order from them. I had paid for a 408 stroker from them and had been waiting a few months on the delivery of it when i got the email about them going out of buisness.
I Quickly did a charge back on my credit card and got my money back. I was lucky. There are several people who are not so lucky, motorless and moneyless right now looking for options.. I BELIEVE that most people have or will get most if not all of their money back eventually.
After i got my money back i went on the hunt for a new engine builder. Armed with the experience of the first build up with FFHP i had a better idea of what i wanted.. Long story short i ordered a beefier motor from LME but it cost me $4000 more than i paid the first time...
I think this would be a great oprotunity for a sponsor to step up and help these other guys out. I thought about this as i was shopping for my new motor but didnt want to post this because people would just think i was trying to get a discount. I know if i was a Sponsor of this site and saw all of the heartache associated with all of this i would do what i could to take care of some of these people with a little discount or something.. SO, what do you guys say? anyone want to step up with a discount ? HPE,LME,W2W,TSP,FMS..etc. ???
