Ok i have to say thx for letting me join first 2nd, Imy having trouble picking what tranny to use. I have a friend that has a t5 ,350 turbo, a 400 and the 700r 4 and a truck style 4l60e. Imy building a 2000 s10 short bed with a 5.3. ! I'm still try'n to figure out if I can use pistons and rods from a L33 05+ in my 04 lm7? I'm having the block decked and a valve job done and I'm gonna port the heads myself . Anyway I have a friend with a s10 with a old carbed 350 and he told me not to use a 400 cuz I'll lose 100hp to the wheels. Does this seem right? Any help on either question would be great. I'm new to building ls motors. I have a ton of questions about my build and have been reading on here for weeks now and I still haven't got any solid questions
