sounds like a cracked flexplate.
what year is the vehicle ?

Things I know I need for it, are stall convertor, carpet, flexplate?, and someone that knows how to trouble shoot an alarm.
I sure hope it's just the flexplate, I did drive it all the way back from Michigan and I wasn't nice to it on the way home, lol. Great oil pressure, doesn't over heat, drives smooth as silk.

99 had potential OEM flexplate problems,good flexplate has round holes,questionable flexplate has 'peanut shaped' holes.
A cracked flexplate will click/knock at low/lower rpm,but quiet down as rpm goes up.
It's typically a crack in one area and is still safe to drive(with moderation).
Total 'crackage' is complete failure where the part area bolted to the crank seperates from the area bolted to the convertor.
I have yet to see 'total' not to say it can't happen.

At super summit yesterday,a few were discussing an OHIO LSX 'cruise/drive'.

Could be a morning 'gathering',cruise/ride to somewhere,take some pics,cruise/ride to someplace for lunch,cruise/ride to another place,take pics,cruise/ride to somewhere for dinner,end of cruise/ride.

Really appreciate the info on the flexplate. Definately pulling the trans out this week. Really really want to have a stall to put back in it. Anyone have a flexplate laying around?
