I'm getting ready to get the collector plates, i believe when i looked into it a few years ago there was several stipulations, i think now they have eased up on those a bit if i remember, call your main local BMV and ask to speak to someone concerning the collector plates.

Alright sounds good, yeah I have heard that they eased up on it a couple years after production stopped. It's harder for the camaro guys to get it because the are making then again. I will just go this route thanks... Now off to summit to look around as usual lol. Got to find some leather replacement seats.

They made me send in $5k+ of receipt's(modifications) and pictures of my car. It took a month of communicating through the mail. This was 2 years ago so I don't think it has changed. This was for a 95 Camaro however.

I heard someone else speak of the 5k in receipts/restoration proof that is required to get collector plates. Might be worth it or it might be easier to just have some removeable cats bolted into the pipes.

No mention of the dyno day on may 12th here yet??

Im also looking for an ls1 oil pan, some cheap 15" rims with slicks and skinnies, and an engine wiring harness for an ls1 fbody.
