427 Monaro
From the April edition of the Australian publication, Street Machine.
Holden has released artist's impressions of the specially prepared Monaros that will contest the popular Nations Cup Championship series...
I will try to get a photo or two scanned for you and posted in the next day or two.
Each track-monster Monaro will be powered by a massive 7.0 litre (427 ci) race version of the GenIII and will use a six-speed sequential racing gearbox, 18 inch race wheels and factory aerodynamic package that will undoubtedly be replicated for road models. The Monaro will be running up against race-spec Ferrari 360 Modenas, Lamborghini Diablo GTRs and V10 Chrysler Vipers in the category.

<strong>I'm not jealous. We've got the C5R. Now if they start selling that car in showrooms, that would be another story.

Australia doesn't get enough credit. What a cool country! I wish the lame-*** countries in the world would step up and be as cool as Australia. There'd be world peace - and a lot more freakin' cool cars too.
