information on my project
1974 LH SL/R 4200 shell
retrimmed interior
255kw LS-1 from a GTO
T56 6 speed gearbox
4 spot Harrop brakes with 368mm cross hatch 2 peice rotors on front
VT single piston brakes on rear with slotted rotors
ford 9" diff with 3.9:1 gears and LSD
Roll cage
Bucket seats for front
18" VX Clubsport R8 rims
Respray in original red/black scheme
thats the initial plan for the car by december/january
I currently have the shell, engine, gearbox, brakes.. rims etc i still need to sort out.. Also have subwoofer for it(NOS bottle look alike sub)
stage 1: body work and paint, drop in engine, gearbox, diff, new dash/interior appointments where required.. get vehicle licensed.
stage 2: fit the harrops and 18" rims, droptank and stereo.
Stage 3:Carbon fibre bonnet, nitrous system(probably an NX setup), heads/cam and who knows what else
Overall its going to be a weekend only car with sunshine and all that.. definately not for wet weather.
Dream setup would eventually to have a 1 peice cabron fibre bonnet with A9X scoop.. **** u think but i'd want to run the Harrop 8 throttlebody manifold with unifilter foam socks for filtering so it'd be a functional scoop
will keep posted on eventuall updates etc

What a set-up. Have you got any pics of the shell so far?
