Anybody think of dropping a LS1/4L60-E combo (or even a LS6) in an old Monaro or a Torana...?

why a 4L60E? **** weak gearboxes(i killed 3 of em).

I am going LS-1 and T56 into a Torana at present, just sourcing an engine for it at present.

Do you guy's have any prob's getting that stuff approved? In NSW, I was told "if you use a late model engine, you have to bring the entire spec of the car up to the same ADR rule for the engines year of manufacture" ????

haha far as i been informed i can drop in the engine and take it over the pits straight as it is.. even with shithouse brakes <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

on that note, i now have an engine, 255kw GTO engine <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
