Default Convertible rules?

I couldn't locate any rules with regards to convertibles for the racing events. Are there any rules specific for convertibles (needing a 4-point roll cage for the track event, etc.).

I didn't do anything with it. I just looked on lsfest.com and could not find detailed rules for any of the competition events. I can understand if you have to contact someone directly the first year the event is hosted instead of having it publicly posted... but the 7th year?

Never mind I found it in the fine print. All vehicles must pass a NHRA/ IHRA safety inspection for ET and speed. Which would require a roll cage if you run faster than a (13.99 I believe )

I ask this for my wife. She will be running her c5 vert. Convertibles can run as fast as 13.49 before roll bar is required. SFI helmet meeting M or SA 2005 or newer , long pants, closed shoes, and a single layer jacket required. this was from Lonnie Grim.

Randall32 you are correct. I called Lonnie today. Thanks buddy. I'll be skipping the drags this year. Won't have a roll cage by then.

Man that sucks. I was kicking around the idea of running the true street in my vert. But I guess this decided it. Ive made several 12.0 passes in it at Beech Bend on a test and tune and it never was a problem, But I understand how diffrent promoters have diffrent ideas. Thanks for this post
