Arrow Finally got one!

Hi everyone, I've been a member for a good amount of time and I've always envied everyone's cars here, and i FINALLY got my own.

I had a thread like on wednsday about how i was gonna fly to chicago and drive it back to Kansas City for 8 hour drive, and from the dealer pictures some people thought it might be alittle beat up or not that clean but I am happy to say that they were incorrect and it is SEXY! Its beautiful and i'm happy i am finally part of the F-Body Family!

Very nice car....I would keep the system..weight not that important for everyday use...and it would take a whole 2 min to take out for the track right

Thanks everyone, the price was $7610, is a 98 and has 72,xxx on it and if you do the math it'll be a 11 year old car this upcoming christmas and if you say 7k/year that'll be 77,000 so they've put 6500ish per year on it so it really hasn't been driven much, im really happy with it.

This is way more than a car for me in lotta ways, i worked 30hr/week during high school and 70hr/week during summer between 2 full time jobs so i could afford this car. I dont if i'll be this happy when i have my first child, lol jk

About the system, it came with the car, and im not complaining, im sure it'll save lotta weight if i got rid of it or did the system where you put each sum on each side or w/e but I have the biggest hole in my wallet and it'll be a while before i recover from it, I'm really glad theres nothing wrong with it b/c i really would not have the money to fix anything.

Good story: So me and my brother sign the paper and everything is done and we drive away and drive literally 2 blocks away from the dealer towards giordano's pizza at Chicago and were behind a stop light and my brother decides to do alittle 0-60 with it, so he does and he goes "oh **** me", and im like "what?" and look over the speedo and the "service engine soon" light is on and im like "ARE ******* KIDDING ME?", along with many other cursings, lol but anyways we were in giordano's parking lot and my brother said "you wanna just go to BK or something? and go to auto zone so they can hook their computer on the car and it'll tell you whats wrong with it?" and we were very far from home and i didn't wanna rouine the trip so we end up just going to the pizza place. which is alotta waiting and its not a fast food to eat so we spent an hour there.

The hole time i was stairing at my car out the window, i was not enjoying my delicious pizza at all, b/c of the service engine light, so we end up going to the auto-zone and they hooked up their ****, it ended up being 2 O2 censors, which i was about to have a heart attack over. I had never been so pissed in my life, i was about to go back to the dealer and literally go Quinton Jackson on their ***. Anyways all and all everything worked out im really happy but UNFORTUNATELY im at college dorms and with dorms comes door dings what can i do? i have a beater, but i just bought the car and im 18 i do not have enough will to not drive it

Nope your not seeing things, its a 6 speed all right, and no as far as i know its not an after market exhaust, thats one disadvantage about the body kit, it covers the exhaust i have to buy longer tips for the exhaust, there square exhaust tips, and the back tires are 315s, i need to get rid of them b/c they are not by any means daily driver friendly, it picks up the road sound on the high way and if you get another person in the back seats since the tires are so big and so close the the top part of the fender and you have a person in the back seat it'll scrape the tire, it has happened and i scream, lol so i have to down grade my tires so that does not happen or at least i dont put anyone in the back until i do. Its hard b/c everyone whats a ride i can only give 1 person a ride at a time if i dont stick people in the back, lol

Oh and heres what i'd like to with my system:

Something with a good sound but also not nearly as heavy as my current and it wouldn't take up my entire storage space for like grociery bags or w/e

well i dont have a issue with my 315's being daily driven, also check to see if your rims arent 11's wide in the back, if thats the case you have to keep a big tire on it. unless you were to down grade to a 9inch wide rim, which im sure someone would trade you on here...
