new to ls1's whats up, jumping on and researching what this block can handle...but im havin some issues with the search not popping up the right answers...i would like to find the max on the bottom, and from there i can better my build...im shooting for a simple 8lb turbo set up and reasonable 500hp...im just lost on the block itself...thanx for pointers or directions to lead to
Your block will probably shouldn't have a problem with 500rwhp you may want to watch that rear end though. How many miles you got on it? Boosting the car with only about 8lbs shouldn't hurt it though. I know there is a twin turbo kit that is like 13 psi and it makes somewhere in the range of 505rwhp out of a ws6 six speed. Other people may be able to tell you more, but I hope this helps a little.
