New from TX I'm considering a LS1 for the wife's daily driver, so I thought I'd join up. I've had 3rd gens and an LT1 4th gen and just sold a Supercharged Saleen Fox body Mustang...thought it was time to come back to F bodies. Wife is currently driving a BMW 328i.
I've got a question right off the bat. Gas mileage between an A4 and M6 on the hwy? We drive a 100 mile round trip daily commute...pretty much all hwy and toll road. I hate to force her into the M6, but I've heard 27-30 mpg is the norm vs ~22 or so for the auto. I'm looking at a better selection at the moment of A4's that meet my criteria of mostly stock and very clean. I guess I'd just have to be sure and try for 2.73's.
