New to Tech Hey, just thought I'd drop in here and introduce myself a little. I'm new to this site, but I know a decent amount about LSx engines. I joined a long time ago to look for an LS1 to swap into my Thirdgen. I finally got an engine a week or so ago, although it's not an LS1; it's a 5.3L.
I got the 5.3 for cheap with low miles, but missing accessories, intake, and wiring. That was fine with me since I'd have to change the accessories anyway, and I wanted to throw a carburetor on it. I plan on putting a cam in too (probably a TR224/224 112lsa).
You'll probably see me hanging around the Conversions section and Classifieds a lot, collecting parts.
