I had a low-mid 12 second(N/A) monte SS when i was 16. You will here a TON of people telling you you arent ready, or its too much power. Dont listen to them. Just drive cautious, and please dont do anything stupid on the streets, no matter how dumb that ricer next to you is. Good luck man, and gorgeous car!

Welcome to the board and congrat's on the new car. I got mine when I was 17 so you will get flamed and all but it's not bad. The one thing to keep in mind is this is your car, your friends are going to want you to show off do burnouts and all but if you wreck it or get a ticket they aren't going to help you out. I have gotten in so much sh*t becuz of friends egging me on, just don't give in to peer pressure *overused statement*

Leave the side molding. Looks bad when people remove it, IMO.

Nice car. I love silver Camaros

Welcome man. Car looks great for 100k. I bought my ws6 when I just turned 18, everybody will be telling you its too much for you or w/e, don't listen to everybody that sees a teen in a fast car and automatically assumes they're a danger on the road. Just be smart with it and prove everyone wrong. Take care of that car man. And on these cars, tires are everything. With the right tires you have nothing to fear from rain or w/e mother nature throws at you.

teens have a bad rap for driving camaros. someone sees a kid in a camaro and thinks he drives like a maniac. don't be stupid. i'm 17 and i'm on my second camaro. first was an iroc, now i got an ss. only been pulled over once (hopefully its the last) and it figures that the first time i fooled around in it i got pulled over. its not worth losing your license or paying 8k a year in insurance.

Nice car man. I wanted a Camaro when I was 16 but my mom wouldn't go for it so I had to wait till I was 18. But like people said just respect the car and don't do anything TOO crazy with her and you'll be fine.

A SLP grill with the SS with the silver outline would look best imo.

That has got to be one of the cleanest 100k+ mile SS's I have ever seen. Take care of her and she will go another 100k just fine.

Congrats on having such a nice ride at such a young age.

Congrats! She looks awesome, especially for the mileage. As others have said, be smart & safe. What does your insurance looks like on that thing

Nice ride, silver is my favorite color! I would love to have an LS1 but I have to say... the 3rd gen Camaros look a lot better then the 4th gens *Just my opinion... no need to start flaming me*, but unfortunately they didn't come with that engine.

My first car was a 1987 IROC-Z. I got it about a month after I got my license and man is it a clean car inside and out considering it has 146,000 miles (click the image in my sig for my CarDomain). I got mine for $3,100 plus another $2,500 that I put into the suspension, $500 into the drivetrain, $300 for the interior to get it ready for racing (Corbeau seats rock!), about $600 into the engine, and plan on putting down another $1000 to upgrade the brakes to C4 HD setup up front and LS1 out back. After the brakes, that actually adds up to about what you spent.

Find somewhere around you where you can have fun with the car. For example, I autocross and some of my friends drag race. Just find a place where you can legally beat on your car and have a blast doing it.

Mike
