Default new guy asks stoopid questions

im about to trade my 72 harley sportster valued at $4000 for a pretty nice 2002 t/a ws6 cloned from a 93 t/a with 125000 on the lt1 350. im trading regardless but id still like to know about what its worth. the body is cherry aside from some minor body panel alignment issues that i plan to fix myself. interior is nice aside from the fact that it looks like a friggin yetti has been living in it.( i havent smelled it yet, hope its not too bad) anyway its got the awesome hood, premium sound system, 17" ws6 wheels, spoiler and all the other stuff that makes it look like a ws6. so far the only thing im not sure of is the suspension upgrades. as you know kbb is useless for a cloned vehicle and i plan on keeping it for myself but someday i may have to sell it. i was just wondering what a ballpark value would be on this car. im pretty sure im not getting ripped off but im super curious. upgrades coming soon. thanks in advance. awesome site.

i was just chekin out the site a little and couldnt help but notice a JUGGALO and an MMA fan on the first post i saw. im gonna fit right in here.

That price sounds pretty high for a car that isn't 100%. Especially when you compare to what's in the 'For Sale' area.

I would hold off on that trade. I assume your bike is in good condition and it sounds like you may be trading off for someone else's burden; LT1s are good at being irrational burdens, too.

Remember one on the road is worth two in shed, whatever the case.

I'm a long time Harley guy, if you can get $4000 for a 1972 Sportster you are doing good.
I would pass on the "Clone"

see thats where my problem lies. i overdid it in the sportster. chromed the frame & shingarm and everything else that would fit in the tank. bike looks like a million bucks but ive been trying to off it for about a year (got an electraglide) and the only people that have shown any interest in it want me to give it away, i realize my mistake now but i still aint givin away my "nut jewelry". the car is the best offer ive got to date. i know the potential probs with a clone but it just looks so good. thanks for the info. keep it coming. i like this guy (we got a lot in common)

I've been into customizing Harleys and cars for over 25 years. If anyone thinks that putting $10k into a car or bike will increase its value by $10k they are in for a rude awakening.
here are my 2 current bikes.

Welcome from a fellow Ohioan. Saw the pics of the bike, looks really nice Personally, I wouldn't touch that car for that price. Prices are going down on these cars at the moment, and if you have the $$, there are deals to be made in the future....hold out a while.
