Default New to the site

Hi, I'm Kyle. I've been lurking here for a little while, I've heard this is a good site for LS1 info and what not. I just picked up my new car last weekend. It's a 1998 Z28 Camaro, A4, factory aero package pretty much mint condition, all original, bone stock havn't taken any pictures of it myself but heres some pictures the dealership had of it when it was on their lot.

Pretty much my first muscle car ever. I'm more used to the ricers, I had a 3g eclipse and a 1g dsm turbo awd before that was fun but broke constantly so I got sick of it. The camaro is definitely different, seems to have more power but alot smoother delivery, doesn't get quite the traction of the dsm though haha. I do love it though I have wanted an F-body since i was like 15 or 16.

I'm a student here at ndsu in Fargo. Some of my other interests include playing bass, brazillian jiu-jitsu, thai boxing, I like watching and talking mma and martial arts alot, and love music.

I really wanna mod this car but I probably won't do anything too crazy as its going to be my daily driver during the months that there isn't snow on the ground. I've got lots of questions about things like gears and higher stalls since it is my daily driver and I don't want to sacrifice drivability or the awesome highway milleage it gets. I was really suprised, this big motor does better than my little turbocharged 4 banger! I really would love to take it down the dragstrip a couple times this summer but am kinda skittish about it breaking after having my crappy dsm poop out all the time on me and break transmissions constantly. And I've heard things about the 4L60E and stock 10 bolt rearend being weak.

Anyhow, thats me, for now i'm just looking at little things to pick up a few extra hp without hacking up the car so I can return it to original if I ever want to. Probably just do little things like a lid, catback, possibly headers and other boltons, would love a stall but am unsure how it would effect drivability. Also if theres any good free mods that don't involve hacking my car apart too bad let me know
