new guy from Milwaukee Looking to get a GP GXP in a few days. Heard they are a pain to custom because the engine is pretty unique. I was looking to do a LS1 swap into my 2000 GTP but I just don't have that kind of cash right now. Probably a $20,000 job.... Realized just adding the 3800 T4 Turbo Kit would probably have been a better idea....
Anyway, I know I have the wrong forum because the GXP is the LS4, but the LS4 is based off of the LS1....just a bit different to accommodate the FWD (and I'm sure a bunch of other things to make it completely different than the LS1)...
Might look at putting a different tranny in it because I heard that's the weak point.
Any suggestions?
