Greetings everyone! (from NC) hey all! i'm chris. i live near charlotte. just joined the LS1tech forums. right now my ride is a 1987 Firebird Formula. bought with 50,551 orignial miles. LG4 305 motor with an edelbrock 1406 (600CFM) carb and 1" spacer with chrome air cleaner. Smog & emissions Delete. cat delete replaced with cherry bomb and a straight pipe right out the back. sounds awesome! Automotiec trans, non-posi rear. It's got a 1987 Trans Am body kit including heat extractor hood. Fresh black paint and i replaced the heavy rubber spoiler with the regular firebird wing. actually looks nicer i think. Tinted windows, 5% all around. custom interior and engine accents. Has won an award at Auto Fair at LMS for #1 Daily driver.
At the time of this post, the car is actually for sale. i'm really not trying to get cash, i want to trade a early 4th gen (93-99) camaro or firebird with a v8 and hopefully a manual trans. I have a scrapbook and a laptop full of pics of all the work we've done. Odometer shows 183K miles, but we swapped out the gages for the 120 mph speedo, original gages on site. anyone who takes this car can also have a boat load of 3rd gen parts i got for it.
