Goodbye. LS1Tech,
It's been fun guys. I've been a member since 5-24-2004. I date back to when LS1.com (young gun z28) was the place to go to discuss our LS1 cars. A tuner in Hawaii turned me onto this site in 2004 when I traded my '99 Z28 for my "00 Corvette. When I made the switch I immersed in the information available here.
Just recently (2 months ago) I bought a 2006 Z06. I've already put about 8000 into it and built it into my dream car. My most recent postings have included pics of my old C5, new Z06, and the build. Once I made these postings people called for a screen name change, I agreed.
All major LS and Corvette forums acknowledged that a name change was appropriate, however LS1tech has a policy against it. No name changes, post count, or trader ratings transfer if you change names unless you are a PAYING sponsor. Never mind the fact that I didn't I never got my 2 trades posted on this site. Sometimes we forget what the purpose of all this is.
As of today, I will no longer share my builds or contribute my Z06 to this forum. There are other great forums out there that realize the community makes or breaks it. Thank you to everyone for the knowledge and advice. I'll see you on the other forums, user name: The New Black
