Newbie Intro
Newbie Intro Hello. I've been creeping around this sight for a while and finally signed up. I have a 99 Z28 M6 with a stock LS1. I'm in the middle of installing a built motor with TPIS Stage 2 heads, ZL-15 cam, LS7 clutch and other small upgrades.
I found my Camaro in Florida a year ago last May. I was looking for a 6 speed, T-top, cloth interior car. I found it about an hour before flying to Missouri to buy a silver leather interior car. I love this one.
I've ran it at BIR one night (two passes). 13.5 @106 both times. I was happy considering the 2.4 60ft times (street tires). I'm hoping to crack into the 11s with this motor and some suspension/tire upgrades.
I'm really a Mopar fan. But I've always wanted an LS1 car. If you want help with your 2.2 turbo cars, let me know.
