new guy from IL Hey guys Phil here, long time lurker first time poster. I live in Cary (McHenry County) and I just bought a 98 TA a month ago so Im new to the LS1.
So far Ive put a lid, slp loudmouth, msd wires, and ngk plugs in it and soon the katech rod bolts, oil pump. timing set, and oil pan gasket that are sitting in the garage are going in. Ive also attempted the Novak aux input mod on the stock Monsoon stereo but when i plugged it back in and cranked it up the service engine light went on and the head unit wont turn on
So im gonna take it back apart and check the connections in the dash.
Ive also had a 96 TA for a few years but now its been regulated to my beater/winter/little brother's part time car. It has a cai, !air intake silencer, tb bypass, ngk plugs, 1LE ac delete pulley, 160 thermo, !AIR, lt4 knock module, poly trans mount, and a mail order tune.
